“‘But I don’t want to go among mad people,’ Alice remarked.
‘Oh, you can’t help that,’ said the Cat: ‘we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.’
‘How do you know I’m mad?’ said Alice.
‘You must be,’ said the Cat, ‘or you wouldn’t have come here.’”
Tom Cuthbertson’s new play, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, will be touring libraries across the UK from November 2017, exploring the theme of psychosis in the world of Alice’s library.
Running at approximately one hour, this highly physical production will have a dynamic cast of four portraying all of the characters, and a minimal set design allowing the show to be easily transferable from space to space.
Our shows are always family friendly, and children aged 8+ (accompanied by an adult) are very welcome. Please note however that this is not specifically a children’s show, and the production explores adult themes of mental health.
